Simply cut the wheelbase shorter by removing the rear seats. BOOM! 100+ pounds saved. Seriously. There is so much room back there. Get rid of 'em!

If anything, take the rear seats out of the Camaro convertible. There is actually zero headroom whatsoever unless the roof is down.

I have seen a build thread in which somebody was reducing the wheelbase of a four-door Mopar B-body and making it two-door. It was... interesting.
